Hello. Just in the studio after a visit with Mom. Back to work on a new grass painting that I am handling very mechanically with tape and thinking about the layers of color what is in front of what. Today I am going to move quickly as I have to see if this approach is going to work. Thinking about how I go from abstract to representational on a whim form painting to painting and how some people in the biz think it's not wise. That you have to pick a lane and stay in it.
To them I really have to say fuck you. You are wrong. Pardon me I mean that with love and I have to respect and honor my dedication to painting for all these years.
