Check me out. I've also sent to my list of Interior Designers as I have in the past. Of the three different announcements I've sent to my list of Designers I've received one response. Imagine that. One response. Oh well, that won't keep me down.

I'm getting my apartment together for a guest that will stay for four days. It looks great and it feels good having it clean. I hope to do some work on my group of paintings - plans for an installation that I am submitting to a friend. Sounds mysterious.

I love Gov. Paterson. As a gay man he is my hero.

So here I sit sober as the day is long and for what I ask you?? I never wanted to enter the priesthood. OK seriously though seeing young people can in a weak state of mind make me long for my youth. I realize that this thinking is a waste of time and I am very lucky to be healthy although decaying by the minute. UGHHH. Is that how you spell UUGHhh? Spellcheck doesn't know so why should I? Oh well. I need a picture.

This image is an RL form 2007. It is the most decorative that I own and a personal favorite. Later.

Listened to Terry Gross interview Drew Barrymore yesterday. She is amazing and the voice is so cute. she is humble and loves being an actress. Love you Drew. Love you too Mark Drew. Mark Drew is my straight boyfriend. We go way back and I love that guy. We live in different states right now and have very little contact but I know one day we will hang out. I look forward to that day.

I realize rereading this post what a contradiction I am. At least I know it and I really don't see any change in my future. CRAZY.

Hello. Listening to the radio and working on some paintings for an installation idea. This image is one of my favorite RL's It is a hardbound Williams and Sonoma cookbook.

So anyway not much to report. I took a couple of friends to Chelsea on a gallery tour. We saw quite a lot and some good some not so good. Life is a mixed bag. Mary Boone had Koons, Kelley, Koh and I'll tell you this show was not trying to please anyone. An average person off the street would probably think it was stupid. I guess it is to intellectual for me I found it annoying quite frankly.

There is a great show of the film maker John Waters. I really love him. His sense of humor is filthy in every way. I want to go back. There was a roach motel the size of a large coffee table on the floor with the word "decorate" I think, embossed on the top. I didn't see that it was a roach motel until I was across the room. There was one piece that had images of all the screen greats from Meryl, Liz, on and on all with a cleft palette. Crazy. I love him. I want to go back tomorrow. I regret that five or six years ago I didn't buy this plate series of his at this crazy store on Ninth Avenue. They had Barbie dolls painted on them with Farrah Faucetts face superimposed in Barbie.

So that is all I guess. I am preparing my apartment for a four day visitor at which point I am out East and no matter what I do it seems like nothing is changing. I also feel like no matter how much I stretch and exercise I can't get my thirty-something waist back. Anyone who knows me would say get over it but to them I say mind your own business. It is tough getting on in years.

Hello. I made a collage of paintings form my collection of Robert Loughlin's work. They look so good, I've made a group forming a vertical on the wall over one of his sculptures. I am so lucky to have these pieces. I've posted a good one next to Babs kind of appropriate as she is a lover of men.

I've been doing some google searches and have found that I am very easy to locate if the right words are entered. Surprise Surprise. Anyway that is good news and there are technorati links when googling my blog. Does that mean something is happening? I have to be more regular with the blog that's what that means. Boring.

Getting ready for my four day sublet. Seems like a big inconvenience for four days but money is money. I need a picture on this posting. There we go. Hello Gorgeous.
