My site, www.markperry.org

Hello. I've nearly recovered from a lower back ache that has plagued me for the past few days.

These two paintings are two more from my group of nine. Sycamore and Aspen. I am so sick of this AIG business. For me it is a no brainer stop the bonuses. These men that defend the "contract" I would guess have contracts themselves. It is so shitty.
I was so happy to hear Elliot Spitzer on the radio today. Yes He made a big mistake but if his wife is able to forgive him, assuming she has, it is not important. Regarding prostitutes I don't care what two consenting adults do. If someone is stealing or fucking up the city fire them otherwise show me a perfect human as brilliant as He is and I would be suspect. I think Presidant Obama is probably the acception to the rule.

There were many calls and emails to the radio objecting to Spitzer speaking. To them I say take your head out of your ass. I think He has suffered enough after being pilloried.

It is so easy to rant.

WITH ALL DUE RESPECT YOUR HOLINESS, STAY HOME, AFRICA DOESN'T NEED YOUR GUILT TRIP

Hello, I feel like I need to acknowledge that the Pope is more out of touch and in deeper denial than anyone could ever imagine. For a man in such a powerful place to visit Africa, with its severe AIDS crisis and say condoms are not the answer, abstinence is the way. I can only surmise that He deeply hates women. They are the victims and in turn innocent children. Thanks a lot your holiness for the visit, next time stay the fuck home. Why can't people who choose to marry God do so happily instead of insisting that everyone else to suffer along with them.

The many faces of genocide. Some are in the guise of love and caring. Thanks for the good intentions. Meanwhile are you going to take care of little AIDS babies of the world??

I take my hat off to people like, (the following taken from www.nytimes.com )

Rebecca Hodes of the Treatment Action Campaign in South Africa said that if the pope were serious about preventing H.I.V. infections, then he would focus on promoting wide access to condoms and spreading information on how best to use them.

“Instead, his opposition to condoms conveys that religious dogma is more important to him than the lives of Africans,” said Ms. Hodes, the campaign’s director of policy, communication and research.

Africa is the fastest-growing region for the Catholic Church, though Catholicism competes with Islam and evangelical churches.

Hello. These two images are two of the nine watercolor paintings that are part of the proposal for the Canadian project I am going after. I feel great about the group and almost ready to send them off.

I've been away from the blog for a week and I miss it. My intention is to post daily and I am confident that soon I will get in a groove. Listening to "News and Notes" and feel so sad that this show is being canceled and will be off the air the end of this month.

I've sent an email to this Interior Designer based out of Boston that was featured in Dan's Papers. He was talking about using local artists and artisans during this tough economic time. I thought what a great idea, I'm going to contact this guy, thank him and hopefully He will check out my site. Next week I am planning to send another mass email to designers to let them know that I am out there. Maybe I will get some respnse.

I've added an Archive page to my website. I'd like to reduce the number of pages on my site but it's really tough with so much work.
