Hello. This is one of my favorite photos that has inspired me and given me a few good paintings. How strange I did not post yesterday's post. I have not re-read it and have no memory of it - some other time.

I love my Widgets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Whatever they do.

I have finally figured out how to put a f&*(%#>g widget on my blog. Now I do not have to cut and paste every post. You may not think it is a big deal but for me it is genius.

My man wants to see the new Bond pic and I am all for that but What depresses me is that i suspect I am going to hate the song. I've heard a bit of Alicia Keys song with some guy anyway I like her and she can sing but this does nothing for her. I hate it I know. Call me old fashioned but give me Shirley, Tina or Nancy can't think of any guys oh Yeah Tom Jones. Excuse me He was amazing. Okay okay, different time.

I'm listening to afternoon radio and Henry Rollins is speaking and I agree with him on almost every point but he is the most arrogant superior fuck walking. I guess he is a musician, comic or just a run-of-the-mill, (love the hyphen) know-it-all bore.

Also listened to Radio Lab on NPR and they had a guest evidently a regular guest Named, Oliver Sachs, What a brilliant funny man.

I started reading one of Studs Terkel's last books "Will the Circle be Unbroken" written when He was eight-nine. Quite touching, may He rest in peace.

Hello. Life is busy. I took a bunch of photos that may be good for a group of paintings that I am considering. It is more grass and of course a voice in the back of my head tells me that I am crazy and should think of something else but for now I am going to ignore it.

I have some paintings in a store, a group of five and I feel they are strong together. I made them in late 2006 I think. Many people have expressed interest in a couple and I have held strong on not breaking up the group. Someone expressed interest yesterday and I could use the money but I held strong again. Anyway, it is probably stupid but I did it. I figure if they are interested they can contact me and we can discuss it.

It is a beautiful crisp day in NY. Tomorrow I start jury duty, hopefully I will not be picked and then free for a couple of years. I know of a couple who in their late thirties met at jury duty, fell in love and married so you should never defer as you never know what can happen. It is a great story.

Hello. It has been a while and I can't seem to post on a regular basis. I am seldom in my apartment at my computer so it is difficult. Soon I will have a laptop so I will be posting on a regular basis and I think things will change for the better regarding my blog and everything in life. How's that, the laptop that changed the world....counting on it.

The image is one of my latest palettes, it started to look like grass so I thought it was becoming a painting. I love when that happens and when I take the next move and call it a painting. It is so easy to lose something and luck when I think to save it.

I am painting out in East Hampton for a couple of days working and just about finishing a large Grass painting. It is 84"x64" and i have posted it in various stages of completion and I am very happy to say that the next time I post it, it will be finished. I did not think it would be a painting that I would be so fond of but it really surprised me and I am very happy that i went with the impulse of the large in your face composition. It is really challenging me and I
m reaching new levels and all that good stuff. I've named it JOAN as in Joan Crawford because it is so glamorous in some way. And thinking of "Mommie Dearest" (as I often do) I can imagine it is the background of Joan's new house. If she had a new house.
